Home visits
Patients are encouraged whenever possible to attend the surgery as all urgent cases will be seen on the same day. The facilities are better for examination and treatment and it is also a more efficient use of doctor’s time.
If you require a home visit, please try to phone, whenever possible, before 10am. The doctor is available to speak to you personally at the end of the surgery and the receptionist will advise accordingly.
Home nursing
Patients who are confined to their home or recently discharged from hospital and need nursing assistance, may arrange through the doctor to see the nurse. The nurse auxiliary can help patients with their personal hygiene, bathing of patients at home and by doing simple dressings etc. She may visit patients regularly if needed.
