Graduated from University of Ilorin, Nigeria. Some foundation training was in Addenbrookes Hospital, Cambridge. Vocational training for general practitioner in Southampton.
The Doctor is assisted by the Practice Nurse, the Practice Manager, four Receptionists and a Secretary, all of whom are willing to help advise. In addition there are several attached staff.
As soon as pregnancy is confirmed, the Doctor and Community Midwife will share your Ante/Post natal care.
We have Health Visitors attached to the practice who are available to discuss a wide range of health problems, especially those relating to mothers and young children. Please telephone (0118) 9550454.
Patients who are confined to their home or recently discharged from hospital and need nursing assistance, may arrange through the Doctor to see the Nurse. The Nurse Auxiliary can help patients with their personal hygiene, bathing of patients at home and by doing simple dressings etc. She may visit patients regularly if needed.
Our Practice Nurse sees the patients by appointments only. She is also available for telephone consultation. She will be pleased to help you with:
- Immunisation Advice
- Ear Syringing (check with Doctor first)
- Removal of Stitches
- Dressing of Wounds
- Cervical Smear
- Minor Health Problems
- Well Man/Women Clinics
- And other referrals which your Doctor may arrange
